Had lunch in the Chop House the other day. Very pleasant service. The lunch special of soup and a tartine at €9.50 is great value.

I had a very good blue cheese (d'Auvergne?) and poached pear salad with excellent brown bread. Followed by the steak tartine - sourdough bread with thin slices of tender, juicy, pink steak topped with horseradish hollandaise and rocket. Hollandaise was a little sharp for my taste - seemed more like a Béarnaise.

One thing - I am SICK to death of all that Rat Pack-esque and Michael Buble music in bars and restaurants. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhh!
